How do I join a group?
Some people start by attending an activity, others start by seeing a member of our team first (usually a Health & Wellbeing worker or Social Prescriber). Our activities are open access for adults – however, if in doubt, we suggest speaking to a member of our team first to ensure the activity is suitable for you and your needs.
As we aren’t able to provide specialised care for those individuals with extra support needs, whether through a disability, mental health or other underlying condition, they are welcome to bring a carer, friend or family member, free of charge.
Some activities are gender specific to meet particular needs, these are clearly marked as such. The activities are all low cost or free. If you would like to know more about a specific activity, you can ring the office. Some activities have bilingual workers or volunteers present to support.
These services can help you stay healthy or improve your health, learn something new, make new friends and find out what is happening in your community.
