Darnall Well Being

Darnall Well Being is a local, not-for-profit, community health organisation working to help the people of Darnall, Tinsley and neighbouring areas stay healthy.

We offer a combination of activities, 1 to 1 support and volunteering opportunities, as well as delivering local health campaigns, health events, brief-intervention training and talks.
Our greatest asset is the empathy of our local infrastructure of volunteers and staff – support from next door, which we’ve built in the 20 years that we have been active in the area.

Through our integrated programme of activities and services, we aim to reduce health inequalities by helping people build their knowledge and resilience to manage their own health and wellbeing.

We’re located at the Darnall Primary Care Centre on Main Road in Darnall. Our Welcome Desk in the waiting area is always stocked with plenty of information and leaflets about our activities. There is usually someone available on the desk to speak to on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings – or you can contact us any time by email or phone!

Food Works Sheffield @TheFoodWorksSHF
While families struggle to feed children, companies supplying schools are discarding their unused food.

We’ve saved tonnes of fruit destined for schools so we’re giving all children who come to pick up a meal a free item of fruit.
