We’re incredibly proud to share that Darnall Well Being has won the Move More Inclusive Champion of the Year 2026 award!

The award recognises organisations that go above and beyond to make physical activity inclusive, accessible and welcoming, so we’re honoured to receive it. From health walks and women‑only sessions, to men’s health activities, green social prescribing and Somali Dance, everything we do is guided by one simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to be active, regardless of age, ability, health condition or background.
In 2025 alone, we welcomed 576 people aged 13–102 from over 23 ethnicities to our groups. Everyone was supported by our team of staff and volunteers, who help remove barriers and build confidence.
This award belongs to our incredible participants, volunteers, partners and staff, who shape everything we deliver. Together, we’re not just supporting people to move more — we’re helping people feel they truly belong while doing so. Thank you to everyone who makes what we do possible. We’d also like to congratulate Alfred Sandy, who was shortlisted for the Community Activity Champion of the Year Award – another great achievement!
